Teachers are warning that growing numbers of pupils turn up for lessons exhausted and irritable because they spend hours on tablets at home – often late into the night.

Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Richard Graham at Nightingale Hospital in London, explained that if this reluctance increases and ‘it becomes harder and harder to get them to do anything other than engaging with technology’, they may be showing signs of addiction
