Napping three times a week could reduce your risk of dying from heart disease by nearly 40 percent according to a study from the University of Athens.

“[A 15 minute nap] gives the brain time to do some mental filing” says Dr Nerina Ramlakhan, a sleep specialist at Nightingale Hospital, London. “It packs away memories and thoughts you don’t need so you’ll wake up with renewed concentration levels and energy”. but she warns: “Napping for longer than 25 minutes can make you feel drowsy and less alert”
