Professional experience

Susan has had her own private practice for five years and has worked with the leading drug and alcohol addiction services, providing 1 to 1 counselling and group therapy to clients suffering from addiction, mental health and relationship issues.

She has extensive experience working with probation services. offering specialist addiction therapy to offenders on alcohol rehabilitation orders.  Additionally, she has a multitude of experience working with families and carers who are impacted by the addiction of significant others.

Susan is an integrative psychotherapist and qualified in 2010.

She is competent in providing psychotherapeutic support for addiction, stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, anger, trauma, loss, confidence, self-esteem and relationship difficulties

She offers a non-judgemental, empathic and solution-focused approach in developing goals and coping strategies that underpin change and enhance self. She is passionate about freeing people from whatever is troubling them, so they can make positive changes to their life.

Susan believes the key to positive outcomes is underpinned by developing a healthy therapeutic relationship with clients. She offers short and long term therapy, using different approaches that enable you to develop a new perspective and motivate you to bring about the change you wish.
