My professional experience:
I have been a consultant psychiatrist with the NHS since 2006 and I have been in private practice for several years.
I graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos Nigeria in 1994 with the MBBS degree. This was followed by postgraduate psychiatric training in London with the Charing Cross and St Mary’s training scheme leading to the award of the MRCPsych by examination in 2002. As a specialist registrar, I undertook training in cognitive behavioural therapy at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London, leading to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT in 2006.
I have been a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS since 2006 and I currently practise at Charing Cross Hospital, London and I am an honorary clinical senior lecturer with Imperial College London. I have been the medical director at Cygnet Hospital London (formerly Bowden House Clinic) since 2013.

I have extensive experience in the treatment of a wide range of mental health problems of varying degrees of severity.
