  • Set a limit at the start of the night – don’t drink until you’re sick
  • Pace yourself – if there is a long night ahead of you, try to alternative alcoholic drinks with mineral water to dilute the alcohol in your bloodstream
  • Never put yourself at risk – if you’ve had too much to drink, always make sure you can get home safely either with a friend who’s the designated driver or a reputable taxi company
  • Never walk home when your judgement is compromised and avoid unlicensed cabs which will be looking to exploit you
