About the Role

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for providing high-quality support in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Support Officer to join our IT Support Team. In this senior-level role, you will provide hands-on support across the hospital estate and company offices, contribute to IT-related projects and play a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of endpoint equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive IT and telephony support across the hospital and office locations
• Provide advanced-level support as part of the ServiceDesk system, resolving escalated issues and assigning first-line requests to appropriate teams
• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Support the full lifecycle of endpoint equipment including:
• Building and deploying new hardware
• Installing and configuring software
• Performing routine systems administration tasks across both on-premises and cloud-hosted environments
• Participate in IT-related projects and statutory IT tasks as required
• Provide remote user support using secure access tools

Who We’re Looking For

• You have proven experience in IT support, ideally within a healthcare or similarly high-demand environment
• You are confident working with both Windows-based systems and cloud applications
• You’re experienced with ServiceDesk platforms and understand IT ticketing workflows
• You’re a natural problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset
• You’re physically capable and willing to carry out equipment installation and on-site support duties
• You communicate effectively and work well across departments and with external vendors
• You’re organised, detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of IT service delivery

Requirements

Essential:
• Previous experience in a senior IT support role
• Proficiency with ServiceDesk systems and ticketing processes
• Experience in endpoint management and hardware/software deployment
• Strong technical skills in both on-premises infrastructure and cloud-hosted environments
• Ability to lift/move IT hardware and conduct on-site installations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:
• Experience in a healthcare or private hospital setting
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL)
• Familiarity with compliance and data protection requirements in healthcare environments
