My professional experience:

I have worked as a Therapist since 2012 with both individuals and groups. I have extensive experience of working with all types of substance and process addictions including drugs & alcohol, sex and love addiction, compulsive gambling and eating disorders. I also have experience in working therapeutically with many psychological issues such as personality disorders, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, depression and anxiety.

My personal statement:

My training in psychodynamic therapy and my experience in the field of addiction have given me an eclectic therapeutic style. I believe in promoting autonomy, and empowering individuals to explore their own therapeutic journey, and I am also sensitive to the need for direction and psycho-education when working with addiction. I am passionate about encouraging every individual who reaches out for help, and feel privileged to be part of another’s voyage of discovery.

Additional information about my research, publications and interests:

My Masters’ Degree from The University of Hertfordshire gave me a thorough understanding, and experience of working with, unconscious processes and patterns of relating. My Masters dissertation was around the unconscious relationship between therapist and patient and how this can manifest in the therapy room.
