My professional experience:

I am a Counselling Psychologist with over 12 years of therapeutic experience.

I have worked in Australia and in the UK across different settings including trauma services, generalist mental health, NHS and corporate services. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and older adults to overcome a range of relational, emotional and mental health concerns.

I am particularly interested in working with trauma, issues that may arise from personal change (e.g. grief and loss) and common concerns such as depression, anxiety and work related stress.

My personal statement:

I adopt a person-centred approach and aim to provide a non-judgemental, respectful and safe space for individuals. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques which I tailor to each individual depending on their concern.

These include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), third wave therapies such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness and psycho-dynamic approaches. I also apply trauma frameworks and use Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals make sense of traumatic experiences.
