She has worked within a variety of addiction treatment settings,  including a residential addiction rehab centre, as well as for a specialist addiction counselling agency. She has experience in supporting both patients and their loved ones affected by addiction.

Personal statement

Debra trained as an integrative psychotherapist, which means she works with a number of psychotherapeutic traditions and theories to ensure the best outcome for her patients.

Many of her clients have faced drug, alcohol or other addictions, stress and anxiety, depression, or are worried about their relationships.  Her main focus is helping clients make changes in their lives, by working with them to identify and understand behaviours and thoughts that are no longer helpful to them.

Debra works with different attachment styles, as well as humanistic and motivational approaches, to help support her clients lead the best lives they can.
