Getting support from others in a group therapy setting can be very powerful. Being part of a group allows the rare opportunity to gain insight into how others affect us and how we affect them. For many patients significant progress is made as a result of their group therapy sessions, as it leads them to explore their emotions and feelings with others experiencing similar difficulties. Group therapy provides a unique chance to confront and challenge the way we see ourselves, improve our relationships and learn new ways of being in the world.

Group Therapy at Nightingale Hospital is extremely comprehensive, giving all patients the opportunity to experience interpersonal sessions as well as CBT theory, practice and psycho-education. This enables patients to leave with CBT skills as well as emotional insight and understanding in addition to the tools they need to improve their mental wellbeing in their day-to-day lives.
