Inpatient

Every inpatient undergoes an initial, extensive assessment on their first day in order that we can develop a tailor-made treatment programme that meets their specific and individual needs. This assessment will be undertaken by the consultant, ward doctor and a therapist. After this, patients will receive full treatment from a highly qualified, experienced, multi-disciplinary team who will work with them to facilitate recovery in the shortest possible time.

We have four inpatient units located in the main hospital:

Each unit has a team of nurses and a ward doctor who work alongside all our consultant psychiatrists. In addition to our therapy services, we have extended our service offering with an Enhanced Wellbeing Programme to support the recovery process. This programme provides sessions on a variety of wellbeing themes including sleep and energy, self-image, mindfulness, fitness and exercise, diet, aromatherapy, acupuncture, art therapy, massage and yoga.

Throughout their stay, inpatients are continually monitored and any necessary changes to care plans and medication are quickly implemented. At discharge, an individually-tailored, after-care plan is devised in conjunction with the patient. We also provide free, after-care support groups for one year after treatment.
