Our day care services and facilities are extensive, with all care plans tailored specifically to patient needs. We also offer many options for accessing day care treatment, including full and half day packages, and programmes where patients can pick and choose from the full range of groups/therapies we offer.
We have a dedicated day care section within the hospital.
Full day packages (9.30am–5pm) comprise four groups plus lunch; half day packages (9.30am–12.30 / 2pm–5pm) comprise two groups plus lunch.
Our day care philosophy is to combine different approaches to help patients overcome their problems as quickly and successfully as possible. To achieve this, we offer flexible treatment options that bring together choice and independence for patients suffering from a range of psychological and emotional difficulties. At all times, we remain conscious of the need to take into consideration the daily responsibilities and social routines of all patients.
These programmes are group based with intensive individual support from the day care team, and are set within a highly professional and welcoming environment, with facilities including spacious individual and group therapy rooms, and pleasant lounge and fully-quipped kitchen areas for relaxation. Additional one-to-one therapies are also available on request and by recommendation.
Our services:
Individuals are given a free, extensive assessment when they first come in, after which a recommended care plan is explained to them. Throughout the treatment, an individual’s progress is constantly monitored by the team of therapists and consultant with alterations to the care plan made if necessary.
Once the treatment course is completed, patients will have a discharge meeting with the Day Care Coordinator, which details free after-care, follow-up appointments with consultants, and follow-up phone calls from the Day Care Coordinator.
