Gambling addiction is a problem which requires specialist help. Our specialist Gambling Addiction service provides evidence-based treatments to help overcome this problem. We help to arrest gambling behaviours immediately to stop any progression of the condition. We offer powerful therapy programmes led by our specialist multidisciplinary team that focus on permanent recovery. Compulsive gambling is a behaviour that can be changed once insight is gained into the reasons behind the problem.
We provide a range of inpatient, day care and outpatient treatment programmes which are designed to help break the cycle of gambling, recognise the cause of the problem, promote recovery and improve the quality of life of our patients. Our programmes are flexible and adapted to individual needs and treat allied problems such as depression, stress, fatigue and alcohol and drug addiction. We offer support with a range of life problems including debt management and self-esteem. Patients receive education on the gambling problem and relapse prevention. We aim to provide all patients with the skills and tools necessary to maintain a lifetime recovery. All our programmes provide full aftercare and support. Support is also available to partners and families.
We hold a regular problem gambling support group. The group is facilitated by therapists with specialist gambling experience.
