Guy worked as a chartered clinical psychologist at Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and Camden and Islington Mental Health NHS Trust. He worked in acute admission wards, community mental health teams, day hospital services, GP practices and psychology out-patient clinics. In his private practice Guy works at the Capio Nightingale Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, Guy has supervised psychologists on the Doctorate in clinical psychology training programs at University College London and University of East London.
Guy specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). He has special interests in treating depression and anxiety disorders, bereavement, OCD, trauma, stress-related issues, anger-management, relationship and family difficulties, and drug and alcohol problems. He has a particular interest in the impact of the modern workplace on psychological well-being.
In addition to providing therapy, Guy conducts medico-legal assessments and acts as an expert witness in neuropsychological assessment, personal injury, occupational stress and fitness to work.
