Elrika is a Registered Health Practitioner Psychologist, a Royal Chartered Counselling Psychologist (MA, BPsych, BA) and CBT Therapist. She has experience in both psychiatric settings and counselling practices. Currently she is working with individual patients, patients from the Eating Disorder Unit, and is involved in the group-therapy programme.
Elrika has training and experience in both CBT and psychodynamic therapies, and has experience working in the fields of General Psychiatry, HIV / AIDS and Health Psychology, Employment Assistance Programmes, Trauma Defusing / Debriefing, and working with Children and Families.
Elrika has been lecturing at London College University (Kensington).
She is fluent in English, Afrikaans and conversational Dutch.
