Dr Paul Mallett qualified in medicine at Guys Hospital in 1985 and then trained in Psychiatry in London and Cardiff and was appointed as a consultant for the Central and NW London Mental Health Trust in 1993. Dr Mallett was appointed as the Trust's Medical Director for four years in 2000. His interests are in complex and difficult to treat psychiatric problems, severe depression and work stress. He has a large medicolegal (civil injury) practice.
