Dr Pierides has been a qualified consultant psychiatrist since 1994. He trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals and was appointed consultant psychiatrist honorary senior lecturer in 1994. Dr Pierides is a general adult psychiatrist with an interest in patients with mood disorders, psychosis, complex diagnoses, personality disorders and substance misuse issues.
Dr Pierides has been a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 1991 and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2008. Dr Pierides has been appointed Examiner and Supervisor from his regulating body the General Medical Council. Dr Pierides is approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act.
