The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery is the only school of nursing in London allied with a medical school and health-related sciences.
Capio Nightingale Hospital is proud to have partnered with the School of Nursing in the training of the next generation of Mental Health Nurses.
Advocate for Mental Health are committed to supporting patients to receive the care and treatment they believe they need and to safeguard the rights of patients using mental health services. Advocate for Mental Health’s ultimate aim is to promote and support self advocacy to ensure that patients views and concerns are listened to and are at the centre of the care and treatment they receive.
Capio Nightingale Hospital has partnered with Advocate for Mental Health to provide patients with both an IMHA and an independent, confidential advocacy service offering information, support, and where necessary representation at meetings at the hospital.
Advocates attend the hospital on a weekly basis on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon. If you wish to speak to an advocate outside of these times or would simply like more information about the service please call 020 8969 3000.
Beat is a national charity based in the UK providing information, help and support for people affected by eating disorders and, in particular, anorexia and bulimia nervosa.
Capio Nightingale Hospital is pleased to support beat as an organisational member.
The Landmark is a five star hotel opposite Marylebone Station. Its personal fitness trainer works with our patients in the Capio Nightingale who can also, by arrangement, utilise The Landmark's Spa facilities. We have also agreed special rates at the hotel for relatives visiting patients.
St Marylebone Church of England School provides teachers to work with our patients who are of school age. The school, which is Ofsted rated, maintains extremely high standards and we are pleased to be able to offer its excellence to our younger patients.
Our education programme is delivered in part and supported by its teachers. We offer a full curriculum including teaching for Key Stage 3 and 4 and provide a 16+ skills’ programme.
